On September 13, the Museum of Miniature Houses held a reception to celebrate its 25th anniversary and to launch the Founders Exhibit. The exhibit comprises miniature works made by the museum’s three co-founders –Suzie Moffett, Nancy Lesh, and Suzanne Landshof — in addition to archival objects such as handwritten ledgers from the early 1990s to photographs of Main Street in Carmel taken 25 years ago to items that were part of the museum’s inaugural exhibit when it opened to the public in August 1993.
Highlights of the reception included the presentation of a Mayoral Proclamation from Nancy Heck on behalf of Mayor Jim Brainard, a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from Senator Joe Donnelly, and a letter of congratulations from Representative Susan Brooks presented by staff assistant Jennifer Bagi.
