Ella Reulbach: A Retrospective- Special Exhibit

July 21, 2023 – July 28, 2024

We are proud to present the work and collection of the museum’s friend, Ella Reulbach. Come see the unique dolls, each made with a full life.

Remember Ella and celebrate her work and life in our Main Hall featured exhibit.

dolls in a basketball locker room. They are wearing blue jerseys.

Explore the lived-in worlds Reulbach made through her polymer clay people. Although they may look strange at first, spending time with the residents of these roomboxes reveals a wonderful humanity.

Reulbach’s pieces are cheeky, but do not mistake the fun for a lack of detail. The same kinds of small touches seen in other miniatures are in full force here. Rather, Reulbach was inspired by her life in Ocala, Florida instead of Victorian mansions.
